Well drove 1hr to cedar creek yesterday, third cast in with a rattle trap and landed a good little 2lber and while I was trying to get the treble hook out fished slipped out of hand and dug a triple grip into my finger down to the bone. This was the first time this has happen to me in 25yrs of fishing ( knock on wood) so I panicked and cut the hook to short to try the string trick and when the hook hit my bone it actually straighten it out a little and I could get it to pop thru the other side myself. So we packed up 15 min into the trip and hit the er on the way home.
Wow, wishing you a speedy recovery. Those treble hooks are good, And bad! I myself, knock on wood, have never had one buried in my hand. Had a nice size trotline hook in side on my leg though, those not very pleasent either
Skeeter/Yamaha and Love to feel something on the other end!! Lol

I'm hoping they did a local before doing that,..I know from experience that hurts more than anything I can ever remember, I had to punch one through the skin once and have my wife cut the barb end off out on the lake one evening. glad you ok..
