I've caught a few fish but nothing like normal. Wanted to go today but I knew better. I watched the sun come out and thought about putting the boat out, but thought it might rain again. Watched a kayaker go out and now he's caught in a rainstorm so strong I cannot see across neely slough.
Water at PK is getting dingy even down at the dam. Lots of new water coming in.
Maybe Wednesday will be a good day. I just wonder where the muddy water line will be on Texoma.

Fish, that is big fish are hard to come by. Maybe there is enough water they ran up the Brazos. Sure had some mighty big rain yesterday between Seymour and the lake. Hooked one nice one at the south point out from Neely but lost her. Didn't change the hook on the bomber, so I can chalk that one up to my own lazyness. Did get a really big scale on the hook though and it felt like a really nice fish.
Fished minnows and balloons some, along with green light fishing off the courtesy dock at the cliffs. There is certainly no shortage of 8-15 inch stripers in PK right now. Sand bass seem to be few and far between though. I guess those big stripers ate them.
The water is very dingy right now. After the big rains PK looks more the color of lake fork that the normal super clear water.

Thanks for that input. PK Lake is strange to me right now. Of course, this is the first time since I've fished it that water is running in from the river. I saw storms all over the river valley from post to seymour and down to Graham. I hope the Brazos is rolling high and wide into PK.

I'm coming up this weekend haven't been out since last summer. Is the temp ramp still up by Costello? Randy you think it would be worth trying to head up towards Rock Creek for sandies?

Sandies are coming back, check all the ussual places, I don't fish Neeleys very often. Stopped fishing Costello and Rock a few weeks ago. Points around Broadway have done well.
