I've never fished the last couple stretches of river just below Worth (around the military base). Are there any decent access points up that way? I have wheels, but don't want to haul my yak a mile. I've put in once off white settlement road at the trailhead, but would like to try it out above there. Thanks

There is a place down off the end of Saint John's ln you can get to the access trail along the levy. From the levy it's all down hill from there. Until you get back of course. There looks like another possible access down off of Anahuac Ave.

ive always put in at anahauc, caught alot of bigones down there, but getting your kayak above that spillway is a task. Thats where the big ones are.
