All the lakes get low until an El Nino sets up in the Pacific.
Give it time and Igle mount will fill.

The break we might all catch will be when all the lakes DFW pumps water into are full and there is nowhere else for them to store it. You can't pump water out of Fork, Tawakoni, Richland Chambers, Cooper, Cedar Creek, or anywhere else if there is no capacity farther west to hold it.

Bruce/All,
Not so much so in, say, Minnesota for a glaring contrast where natural lakes are abundant.
Glaciers. They have natural lakes because they had glaciers. The south has very few natural lakes that are not oxbows.

Its to my knowledge that Bport was actually so full sometime in 2009-2010 that they actually closed it down like they are some lakes now. Unreal how just a few years can make all the difference. By closed i mean the ramps closed off. I remember my buddy who lives in a condo over there was wanting to get out on the lake that day and we had to go to the grasslands instead.

Eagle Mountain is going to be full today...so you did live to see it, Lee.
I'm happy for y'all. Now if the rain out west of DFW will fill up some of those lakes...

Yes sir, you sure look to be correct BUT, now, have to be careful what ya wish for. Lake full, still filling and a 'milkshake'!!! Will be hard to fish for some time to come. Water clarity is a thing of the past for now... God Bless Eagle Mountain is going to be full today...so you did live to see it, Lee.

Right now it looks like the heavy rain is between Ivie and Hubbard Creek, two lakes that really need it. It's just sitting in place. At least the smaller lakes in places like Coleman ought to be catching some water.

Fished yesterday for a few hours Lee and ended up catching about 8 fish and the biggest being around 8! Seemed like I found the only patch of clear water on the lake and the fish were just bunched up lol!

Well, at Lakes on Line, at 1045 hours, Eagle Mountain went ABOVE full pool level. We are there at long last....now, how long before they start 'dumping' water to feed Lake Worth? God Bless
