Went to the creek one last time today ( i know i said that last time --LOL--) But this is my last creek run. I had to walk two miles to get to the rapids because the lake is up and the creek is up six feet as well. Met up with a couple friends of mine from Lavon Mike NTX and Loren but they left early and each landed 4 or 5 fish. I stuck it out from 8:30am til 3:00 Pm and hammered out 22 and missed 20 or so. It was a pretty good day up there. All on the fly rod. I had a pretty good year fishing the spawn with the fly rod. It's really cool to catch em on the fly. Now it is time to charged the batteries up on the Triton and hit the lake. Good to see Mike and Loren today. Here are funny looking selfies --LOL--

You did better than we did on Hubbard. Wind was a _itch!! Only managed 2 17" hybrids. See you a the breakfast.

Nice to bump into you again Keith yesterday! We went back another spot a few bends downstream and caught a few more before I spent the next hour "fishing" for the 4.5ft gar that was constantly taunting me. Just a note, there are still TONS of fish in the creek. I would give it another shot before writing it off.  It had been a long creek season and after this weekend I am ready to head back to the lake. MAYBE.
