With all the new/dirty water we are dealing with this SPRING, I am looking for color combo's. Someone mentioned black/orange and this is what I came up with:

Any other suggestions for what kind of jig a guy needs in his tackle box, for these conditions??

Quality work!

I like any form of electric chicken, chartreuse/hot pink for muddy water. This may sound funny, but lately, I've had had good luck with black/black or black/gray fishing heavily stained water during overcast skies.

Black/grey is a good color for stained water. Another good color is green/yellow.
The old Color-C-Lector showed green/yellow as two colors that could be seen in muddy water. Mid South makes a tube jig called bull frog that is bright green/yellow. I've used this color in water where visibility was 1-2" and crappie thumped it. Yellow chart with a bright green will work well I think. Here's a video with some info.

Still that same one for me and the best way to describe it is post it. So click on this picture link on my site and see my favorite. It's a Flame Red Head the body is FL Yellow & Black with a Hot Orange Tail. I use it with the Roadrunner type jigs mostly. It's just easy to post it like this rather than finding it on my Photobucket.
