Thanks everyone. I have had a blast with the Fly rod or LONG rod as Superduck calls it --LOL--  Awdiee , Mahoro_su Good to see you guys again. I didn't move from the last place you all saw me. I worked that area pretty good. it had a lot of fish but the water was so muddy i couldn't see them. I got a tangle in the end of my fly line and was trying to un tangle it and next thing i know the whole tip of the rod started moving and jerking. At first i thought What in the H--- is going on. Then it hit me my fly was still in the water and a fish hooked itself  so i added it to my total. Also i hooked one of thse 3 or 4 foot gars and it was like pulling up a tree branch from the deep. One it saw me it bolted and snapped that 4 pound leader in a flash. LOL Carey . Kayak_hoolagan I am tempted for sure to go again  Headed to the RHSA breakfast Saturday morning at Harbor bat and catch up with the lake crew. See y'all there
