Have there been any significant design changes in bass boat hulls in say the last 20 or so years? I know theres slight differences here and there but overall the hulls are about the same since they all went to vee hulls.

Im sure build quality has changed a bunch, same with layout, design, and storage.
Whats changed that I know of is the console designs. Nowadays almost every console is an "added on" design. Most 90s and earlier consoles were molded into the top cap, the reason they stopped this design was I believe due to stress points on the lower part of the console where it meets the top cap, after years of hitting waves stress cracks begin to appear on the stress points. That's my theory, I know my 97' charger had terrible stress/gel coat cracks around the console.

How about plywood in the transom? I think quite a few boats from the 90s into the early 2000s will still have plywood in them while any new boat has no wood in the transom.

Only one I can say thats changed a lot is the fastcat tunnel, but advancements in materials have brought back the tunnel hull, more than a re design in the hull

Well what im saying is generally speaking most bass boats look about the same as they did in the mid 90s, obviously a few design changes here and there but nothing major as far as the hull i can see.

Jackie Kennedy hit the nail on the head. In many cases people spend more on the boat than they do on the pickup pulling it.
