Do you think they would be smart and pump it to tawakoni or stupid and send it down the Sabine and on to the gulf since all the lakes below are full already?

I doubt they'll pump to Twok only because it's full. They may start releasing to have room for more flood waters.

Your post should say "When", not "If". Though I have the same question about Lavon! I bet it will fill this week, flooding in the watershed with up to 4" of rain today!

According to what I can find Tawakoni is still 5 3/4 ft low. SRA wants to sell water, not flush it to the gulf. I'm betting they'll store it wherever they can.

That's what I am seeing. I hope they fill tawak up before they send it down. Our summers are brutal!

If it counts toward the Dallas 5'draw I'd say pump it if it get full and it keeps raining...... Though I am watching it closely and Tawakoni is NOT rising as fast as the other lakes.....wonder WTF??

All of them are getting drenched right now......heavy, runoff rain.....I think Cooper will be full by Monday and Fork by Friday next.....Tawakoni and Hubbard need a major event

Tawakoni just got one. Driving from Fork to Fate was crazy. We are talking heavy, heavy rain and lots of it. Never have seen 276 flood like that and all the creeks, bar ditches etc are rushing big time. Might not fill up Tawak but I bet we see a nice increase here from this one.

Let me reword my statement...

I doubt they will pump to Twok only because FORK is Full... Not surehow else to word it, I wasn't implying Twok was full, only that because Fork is full would they pull to Twok. I assume they would hold water and/or release from the dam rather than pumping to Twok. Straight to Dallas, they may pump for that purpose.

They won't spend money to pump water when we are expecting more spring rains

I can believe that. Crossing 2 mile bridge was an experience tonight.

The rain out in that area tonight was incredible. I haven't seen rain that hard many times in my life. Had to drop 2-3 inches in an hour.
