I fish Lake Grambury and water level is up two feet and still rising. Planning on going out tomorrow. What does a rising water level do to the fish. There's a lot of sand bars that had grown up with grass that are now underwater. Should I hit these. What are the bass eating? Any tips would be great

Lake has come up more than 3 feet in the last week. We are doing a open tournament tomorrow so it should be fun. Hopefully the fish will be biting.

Like Donald said, grass almost always is a sure bet when waters rise. I have heard many rumors that one should wait about a week before fishing newly risen waters. From my experience though new levels mean bugs have drowned and baitfish will definatly explore the new water. Combine drowned insects and baitfish and the bass will follow even just a couple hours after a lake rises. Topwaters will be good as well as jigs and spinners thumb

Throw a roadrunner into that new flooded grass and hang on.

Lots of lakes got a boost last night. Lewisville is a foot high. Fork and Two have come up a foot already too.

General knowledge is Run TOO the rise, run FROM the fall...

Meaning when its rising fish the edge of the dirt, and when it starts to fall pull off deep
