Flooded grass, bushes and reeds using weightless senkos. Every guide I saw Wed. was up shallow but could not see the beds. We concentrated on the second drop most of the afternoon and they sure weren't there for us.

Top waters early. Frogs, poppers and spooks are all getting bit. Then weightless plastics. Wacky, senko, fluke. Just have to experiment each day but top eater and weightless plastic will keep you busy.

Just experienced a hurricane at Lake Fork. It rained about as hard as I've ever seen for at least an hour and the wind was howling. Water temp in Mustang was 68 when I put my boat in the water about 6:00 pm.

I said the same, some of the hardest rain I have ever seen in my life. LOTS of it too.
