Thinking about going down there Sunday looking for LMB and was wondering if anyone has ever fished it? Any information would be appreciated.

I used to fish the working mans there. Biggest I've caught was 7lbs. There are some good size bass in there. Work the reeds and docks!

Yessir, I've hit it up several times over the last couple of weeks and haven't been skunked yet. There are some good ones in there. Agree with above as far as the docks and reeds.

I fished there a couple of times last year. Caught one small LMB. I like to go across the lake from the (only)boat ramp, but be very careful when there are powerboaters on the lake. They seem to think they own the lake. The reeds on the south shore can produce bass. The lake is very shallow, around 25 feet, but has no drawdowns due to water usage, other than the waterfront property owners. It's usually close to full. Good luck!

Thanks for the information guys. And I saw that lonely boat ramp, but are there any places to put in on the south shoreline? I have wheels so making a small trek wouldn't be a problem.

The lake isn't gigantic or anything. I've gone out from the boat ramp and paddled to the dam, fished around it, came back along the opposite shoreline, and would have gone to the other side of the lake if a thunderstorm didn't roll in. That was in about 4 hours. And that was with stopping at places and fishing slow.

Don't waste your time. There are no fish in that lake.
