Learned at about 9-10 with an abu5500 and then bought a shimano cardiff

Don't remember how old but MobyDick was still just a minnow. My first baitcaster was an Ocean City and cost about $2 from White's Auto or Western Auto. Can't remember which one but the Constitution hadn't been written yet.

I am 56 and I still prefer a Zebco to a baitcaster
