My company (based in Houston) want to put together a fishing trip/weekend for 40-50 people. Being the resident tourney guy, my boss has asked me to look into it.
they would like to do freshwater.. I am thinking a white/hybrid/striper type trip.. timing would be late may/early june..
my delima is I cannot think of a lodge or camp within a couple of hours of Houston that can handle 40-50 people???
any advise? I know we can go saltwater, but they are leaning fresh first....

Crappie at Rayburn with Uncle Bill Fondren www.samrayburn.com/fishing-guide--tejas-guide-service-3-s-texas-outdoors/186

His lodge may be able to accommodate that many. If not, I hear Rayburn Country is back open and nice.

There's a resort at 7 coves on Conroe that can hold as many as you need. There are also some party boats that go out of that marina that can handle that many people.

Look at Tanglewood Resort on Texoma and go striper fishing. They do events like this all the time and they are 1 minute from a great marina with a nice bar and grill right on the water. The Island Grill has pretty good night life too, live bands on a regular basis.
