Has anyone had any luck fishing for Carp in the Guad above Canyon Lake?

I don't fish for em but have seen some nice ones in that area! The main lake (Canyon) has some big ones as well!

Yeah all this past year I saw tons of them.. just never tried to catch them. I think I will go out there this weekend and give it a shot. The river is pretty deep so not real sure if I should fish shallow or deep. I guess Go where you see them and hope for the best. I am not a carp fisherman but looking to try something different.

I think they are spawning. I have been seeing em in shallow water 3 to 6 feet deep.
