I drive a 2011 Ford F-150, my trailer is a tandem axle, w brakes and it won't back,up. Other vehicles back this trailer so I'm sure it's my truck. Must be my plug or a fuse.

Does your trailer harness have 5 wires and surge brakes? One of them is to activate a solenoid to turn off your brakes.

You may need to get another plug on your truck.

It should be a factory harness, round on the left, 4 pin rectangle on the right. I believe the boat is a 5 pin, but it has an adapter on it right now. It worked fine on two other vehicles.

In an emergency.......

Unplug the 5 flat connection to on from the truck to trailer..rotate truck plug 90 degrees and plug a different slot into the end slot (blue wire) on the trailer. That is taking a known hot wire and sending power to trailer actuator to release the brakes. If it doesn't work your problem is trailer related, if it does work your issue is between the plug and the truck.

Turn headlights on before backing up with plug set up like this so all wires are hot.

Well I think the issue is the trailer, don't want to miss fishing right now so I rigged it where it won't lock up and will send it to the shop some other time, thanks for the help

Some older trailers did not have a electric bypass I had one that had a slug that fit in the slot in the tounge that kept it from sliding if the hill was to steep
