Haven't seen anyone catching sand bass on Grapevine. Used to fish there years ago and would do pretty good.
Is it still a decent lake to catch em?

YES, I had the pleasure of getting into some nice ones yesterday trying to stay out of the wind. All fish caught on square bill that ran about 6'..bright colors were the ticket. I was sitting in 12 feet of water and throwing into 20 feet working the bait pretty slow..good luck!

The new ramp at meadowmere is open,it is steep and has a dock, and nice new clean restrooms, not sure how it will be when the rug rats show up this summer but it is good right now.

i went out yesterday for the 1st time and didn't fish but just more or less scoping out the scene, and on the north side of the lake west of twin coves , there was probably 30 people fishing off the bank, all in a row.. anyone else seen this? I'm hoping to possibly get some fishing done on sunday.
