Once again, the Dallas Downriver Club will be conducting a Kayak Swap Meet on May 2nd on the Mariner Sails parking lot at 11110 N. Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75229. In the event of foul weather, the meet will be moved into the Mariner warehouse. Those wishing to sell will be assigned one parking area on the lot. The spaces will be available on a first-come first-served reservation. For additional details or to reserve your spot, please contact DDR club president Dale Harris at www.president@down-river.com. Please note that Mariner Sails is only providing space for the swap meet. All financial transactons will be between the seller and buyer with no exceptions.

This swap meet is for individuals only... NO COMMERCIAL DEALERS WILL BE ALLOWED.

This will be a great opportunity to buy or sell! Folks will be bringing in all sorts of kayaking and camping and fishing gear and setting them out in our parking lot for viewing, selling or trading! I'm willing to bet that Mariner will have some "special Purchase" items available as well. there is a lot going on this time of year so if you find yourself nearby on Saturday May 2nd, drop in and see if you can find your very own "holy cow" deal!

Kinda stinks that this is the same day as MSKFC Lake Mineral Wells! Can't be two places at once.

I know Jeff........we have such a hard time this time of year.......the Dallas Downriver Club actually sets this up and this was the only weekend they could do it and we really appreciate their support with this event. We get kind of spread thin in the Spring..........At least we have some choices for fun! There are even 2 more events I know of this very same day!

It all worked out well for me. I cannot make it to Mineral Wells that day so I should be able to make the swap meet!
