Caught 26 blues from 3 to 12 lbs on fresh shad throwing right against retaining walls. Started fishing at daylight but bite didn't start until about 8. Hope this helps someone!

The retaining wall at my place was covered with shad last weekend. there was about a 1 foot column swimming up and down the retaining wall. There were fish of all kinds making a run at the shad. it was pretty active for a few hours during the morning.
