My dad loves these and was given some by a friend who did not know the brand. It is a grub of some sort. Can anyone help out?

Culprit made them. I have the knobby fries they made. They are no longer in production that I know of. They moved on to bigger and better things.

Maybe some one else has a mold of them. It sure would be great to have a box full of those.
That big wag tail is a fish catching machine on the big river trees at Ivie.

Thanks guys. That is what i was afraid of. I like the kicker fish bubble fry, but they do not have the tail on them.

And, a local source here in D/FW, KC Injection Baits, has a 6" willow leaf ring worm with a ribbed body and a split tail. Sort of similar looking to the bait you show the photo of.

I ordered a couple of packs of worms, left it up to him on some color considerations after telling him what lakes I fished, and all of the worms worked very well.

I have always thought one could discern a quality difference between Yamamoto's worms and plastics and most others. KC's stuff was of this sort of quality.

Barlow's Tackle Store has the ring worm with that wag tail. They are great and work very well on Ivie.

The Damiki Miki Spoon Tail looks very similar. Probably have to order them but if you're in DFW you could call Angler's Pro Tackle. They carry damiki stuff.

Agree with heating a curltail (or use Mend-it) onto a Kicker Fish bubble fry

YUM Wooly Curltail is close
