i have a 98 efi 200 mariner.rebuilt powerhead in 06. just had injectors cleaned and adjusted with no major issues with them. replaced fuel bulb and fuel hose to motor. fuel hose size is 5/16. ran it on the lake sun for the first time and hit 3k rpm coming out of the hole but hole shot was awful, like its missing a little something. wot rpms were 5600 and 58mph. before my rpms were 5800-5900. 63-65mph. could new fuel line size cause this? any other ideas? thanks

Just a guess. Getting everything back in place without a leak on the fuel injection system can be tuff (a lot of "O"rings). I always pressure test it with fuel before re-installing. Don`t overlook the simple things like a spark plug wire coming off.

like Gary says.. lotsa little parts, especially O-rings which need ta be replaced with new, injector harness (inside tha plenum) checked and etc.. did you get a chart with tha injectors with recommendation as to which injector needed ta be in which cylinder?.. flow chart showing what each one actually flowed after tha cleaning?.. new screens?...

a good service will include all that...
