I was gonna take my mom out to benbrook and do some fihing this evening maybe go down to the rocks by the dam and the old longhorn boat ramp. any tips?
I only fish on days that end in Y!

I haven't gone after the rain but before it rained heavily I was catching some sandbass and 1 hybrid this season. You can throw just about anything and you could catch some fish there.

Went out by the dam at longhorn , all that was caught by my and many others last night was 3-5 inch yellow bass and sand bass. pretty lame lol. Tried rattle traps worms crappie bites, jigs, nothing was working for anything worth catching.
I only fish on days that end in Y!

lol. takes time.. after the rain like that all of the lakes are bad... i tried lewisville yesterday and it was very murky. id say give it until the weekend if the weather stays clear.

i believe i saw you out there, with another boat near the dam in the evening. i was fishing the shore by the pier. i only caught 1 crappie in about 90 minutes of fishing. thought it would have been a better eve.
