The years of drought and perhaps some changes in the overall environment seem to have changed the timing of when the geese typically head south through central Texas. This may just be part of a natural cycle that I'm too short sighted to recognize but memory of autumn seasons past the geese could be heard most often about mid October. The last few years the birds will hold up north much longer. Thank goodness the bucks don't migrate..
