The past few days have been a roller coaster ride for me. We started out on Friday with Fred Cooke and his group. It was slow for us early and we only had about 10 fish at 11:30 but then after most everyone went in because of the pending storms we hammered the fish and ended with 43 fish and a box so full I could hardly shut the lid. Then Saturday morning I was confident when I showed up to help my buddy Doug with a large group. My guys got to the dock late and most of the guys that caught fish got them early, but I never got them to go and ended up with zero fish. It was a tough morning for most but it was still embarrassing. I put my trip on Sunday off till 2 thinking the afternoon would be better but it was still tough. We caught a handful but that was it. Then today I took Carol Myers and her husband Keith out for their 30th anniversary and ended the day with about 25 fish and cleaned 19. The artificial bite has been tough the last few days but most of our fish are on spawn and when they get back they'll be hungry. It was a great weekend on Lake Texoma even though the fishing was tough.

Good report John. Its great to see the lake level up. Hopefully the strippers will have a good spawn. Should be a great summer on the big pond. thumb

Hmmm, I noticed Blue water in that picture so that is not west.

I've never seen Texoma this high.
