On April 18th myself and 20 others from the Mariner Sails Kayak Fishing Club launched our kayaks for what turned out to be a very memorable adventure.

Summer is a really bad time to take a trip on this section of the river. They generate daily so theres nowhere to camp.

I have been kayaking for quite a while off and on over the years. This was one of the best kayak experiences I have had so far. I want to thank Jerry, Rick and Mariner Sails for putting this trip together. I wish I could have stayed an extra day or two to soak in some more of the Brazos scenery.
If you have not joined this club your missing out on some great adventures and a chance to meet some great people. I can't wait for the next get together.
