There is a place in the metroplex area that's does motor rebuilds. Many of you guys have talked about them and give them the thumbs up. They offer a warranty and do a couple hours of motor break-in. What is the name of the company?

Texas outboard is in Tool Texas by Cedar Creek lake. 4 year warranty , 2 at 100% and 2 at 50 % Not the cheapest but one of the best IMO

Did you find a bad cylinder? This 150 power head I have is good with 100 to 105 psi on all 6 cylinders on a compression test. Complete dressed motor, no lower unit and w/ bad stator. I know it is because I robbed the good one off of it. Guaranteed. Would meet you part way. 1000.00

Would meet you part way. 1000.00 I'm taking the motor into the shop this week to have a compression check done and find out what exactly is keeping it from running. I'll know more about it later in the week. If it is dead I am very interested. Will my lower unit and stator work on the motor you have? It is a 1984.
