Ok so with the rain and storms the last few nights the fish for at least me has changed a bit. Not to mention all the dinosaurs cruising the grass line helping with the dingy water. With the water being muddied up it has slowed the bed fishing a little but the fish are still there, just tough for most to see. One thing this has done is stack the people up down at the south end of the lake. Don't let the mud detour you from your game plan just tweek it! With all the new water the fish are stacked tight to the new flooded grass. The best baits producing for me are weight less flukes senkos and rattlesnakes still. If the fish don't bite the weightless bait t-rigged change to whacky style. One day they want it one way maybe the other next. The last couple days we have still been going to the places where the bed fish were stacked. Just back off and cast to the grass. Watch the water too and a lot of times you can tell where the fish are bedding even in the mud. Look for a swirl, fish tailing, or the flash of a female being rolled around by a male. Once you see this go in with a light Texas rig craw or senko. Also if you get out on the water early enough we have been catching fish first thing on spook type baits or frogs! This will get better the more fish that spawn out and start guarding fry. Water temp has been ranging from 65-75 depending on how long the sun peaks out through out the day. Best colors in the soft plastics have been shades of green pumpkin, Mardi Gras, or watermelon. No big big fish this week just a lot of solid Fork fish! Hope this helps anyone that may be traveling to the lake in the near future.

Here's a few picw for those that can't wait for the weekend.

Good report Z.

The carp were so thick one day we got out of the boat and started netting them and throwing them up on the bank. LOL
