I want to try and use shad on my regular pond excursions, but I never can find a place to buy them. I don't have time to sane for them every day. Anyone know some stores around Denton that sell live shad? I have seen some gentleman carrying buckets of them around at the local public ponds, so I know there must be some out there.

I've yet to see any stores around denton selling anything but minnows and they are in Sanger with the exception of the dam store which sells minnows, gold fish and perch. I've always had to go down to the spillway on Ray Roberts to catch shad with my cast net. The closest place that may have them is the pro angler store down off jacksboro highway in Saginaw.
