Going to try to catch a few sandbass tomorrow on Ray Roberts. Never been on that lake before. In fact, I haven't fished at all in 2 years due to health reasons, so this will be a great outing for me no matter if we catch fish or not ! I only have a lake map, and a flasher type depth finder. So, any advice on where to look would be greatly appreciated. I do know to look for birds ! grin
Thanks !!

Went to Buck Fri. Water is muddy didn't catch anything. They might be out on some main lake points. I would just look for the birds on the points.

Thanks for the info. Went Sunday early and fished north of Jordan Park, Cates area, and in Buck area. Only got one small fish, and it got really windy as the day went on. Talked to quite a few folks and no one was doing any good. I did see one black bass caught that would have probably been around 4 or 5 pounds. That was the only fish I actually saw being caught, but one guy at the ramp said he caught 3 small black bass but it was a tough day. But just getting back out on the water was enough to make my day. Thanks again for the info !
