 Lake fork unders?

Was thinking about partaking in a tourney on fork next month. Was wondering from the guys that fish the lake regularly, how do you sort through all the slot fish? Every time I go there we catch numbers but all in the 4-7lb range. Trust me I'm not griping but how do you target the small ones? Thanks for the help in advance

Smaller baits to start with. Baby Brush Hogs,Beavers, wacky worms for a few.

Crappie jig under a slip cork. Ethical or acceptable in a tourney I don't know, but it will get you 5 unders in a hurry.

Lol at slip cork! Beetle spins? I love those things!!! But yeah I could see smaller baits. It's just on semojis, wacky, SB, and tx rig I still catch lots of slots. I know there are millions in there.... Where they all go is the ???
