Also posted this on the TKF, but I drove over it on the way back from Hubbard creek today and there's quite a bit of water, and it looked like some people had parked next to the bridge to fish, has anyone out in a yak here? And if so, how was the fishing?

Also, how's the fishing off the Brazos between mineral wells and Palo pinto off 180? It looked like there was a plce to pull over to the sideand go under the bridge here, but I didn't stop to investigate. I'm hoping I can find some places to catch some big river flatheads and blues, but bass are fun to catch as well!

You used to could access the river from the 180 bridge, from the northwest end of the bridge. Maybe still can. That was a couple of years ago. Creepy under there. Lots of trash, needles, satanic graffiti. The fishing is better upstream between FM 4 and Hwy 16.

That does sound pretty creepy! Is that between Anson and albany, or Palo pinto aND mineral wells?

It's between Palo Pinto and Mineral Wells. There was also a big dead catfish on the bank that was stinking the place up with the death smell. I was glad to get out of there.
