Had Sunday morning off so I thought I would try to find some Canyon Lake cats.
Fish a couple spots early without a bite.
Tried shallow and deep.
Pulled up to the last spot at 11:OO. A shallow rocky mid-lake hump.
Caught 3 in the next hour. One good one.
Liver under a slip float.
Not bad for Canyon Lake.
Home by 12:30.
Boat ramp had every Larry, Curley and Moe there.

Nice, I've been hearing reports that they are shallow. Any eggs?

Well hello my old friend John !
The fish has small un-developed eggs.
Fish caught at a hump that goes from 10' to 4' at the top.
Caught at edge of hump at 10'.
There was deeper water close by it also.
