Launched at LakeView today. Burned a lil rubber trying to get out but nothing too crazy. It's usable, I only have two wheel drive and I pulled out a 21 fter. Not too excited about the launch fee!

I don't know if the USGS site is right, but it is showing Eagle Mountain came up over 2 inches in about 15 minutes when tonight's line of storms moved in.

Heck no! I guess I wasn't wiggling it right. Saw some bedded bass but wouldn't take. Found a lil group of spawning crappie and pulled out 15 total guess the day wasn't a total bust. Fog was extremely bad at sunrise. I was in the middle of it close to the island.. Only could see 10 yards in front of me for about 150 yards. Just prayed no idiot was running wide open looking at his chart. I'm still alive!

Fished Thursday evening and Friday morning. We blanked Thursday, caught some tiny white bass Friday, 1 8" largemouth and then caught one just under 5 mid morning on a dock in 10'.

Saw tons of carp up shallow but didn't see any largemouth.

They just posted this on their website......

Twin Points boat ramp reopens
Posted 4/28/2015

The boat ramp at Twin Points Park has been has been reopened after being closed last fall due to low lake levels. The rainfall over the last week, combined with the district's pumping efforts, have made a significant impact on Eagle Mountain's lake level. The lake is high enough now that we can keep the ramp open most, if not all, of the summer.

There is a $10 launch fee and the ramp is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
