Picking ups few of the 3:16 Rising Son swimbaits. What model: regular bottom hook or weighted top hook model are people fishing. The bottom hook looks right but the top hook looks like it would fish shallow and around trees much easier. Anyone? Thanks, 361V.

I am curious as well. Want to get a few and it seems like the bottom hook is the most popular, but not sure how much or how easy they hang up.

^^^One of the coolest pics I've seen!

The 6.5 and 8" Rising Sons are awesome. I prefer the 8". Every swimbait has its place, the 8" RS and similar, a Hudd 68 like to be swimmed REALLY slow. If you want to fish a little faster retrieve, there's lots of great hard swimbaits out there.

What is the hard bait in the picture? It looks like a glide bait of some kind.

I have a couple of both. Top hook for cover and bottom for more open locations. The way I decide is top hook anywhere I would throw a squarebill and bottom anywhere I throw a crank. If the cover is really thick I just use a hollow body and jig head that I build myself by putting the head inside the bait. $18.00 a piece can get pricey if your losing them. They are durable though.

Is it made from gold or platinum and how many SALs get shipped with it at that price?

Not sure but seems like all of the hard swimbaits are extremely expensive. I have seen some cost $250 or more. Unfortunately my income and wife wont allow me to find out what they are made of or if they are magical.

I looked and didn't see one like it on there.
Maybe it is a prototype.

That glide bait isn't out yet! It's wicked.
