I am going to go fishing at Joe Pool in the morning with my brother and friend... haven't been out there yet this year... where are y'all having luck and what baits are you having luck with?

I went out to Lake Arlington last weekend and had no luck shallow with Texas Rig/Jigs.

Any suggestions would be great.

Happy Fishin'

Try anything in watermelon red in 6 to 7 feet of water. Caught 5 Wednesday on a baby brush hog. I haven't been having a lot of luck but catching a few. It's tough out there for me.

I would throw a white chatterbait very shallow on points and around shallow structure.

Thanks guys. I didn't have any luck, but my brother caught 3 dinks. Been a tough year for me so far!

JP can be tough, but it does have some nice pigs in it.

two over ten pounds?

Sounds like the world record bass I lost there last week! It was easily 25+ pounds. But, like your buddy, I could be exaggerating and it could have been a normal Poole bass around 3-4 pounds.
