usually with that combo.
when going to stainless.. if the rpms are good. and your current prop has suffecient cupping
then you stay the same pitch.
i have a new 21p turbo I in stock. 295.00

uses the same hub kit that's in your aluminum prop. flo torque hub

Steve, will a double cup prop make the boat come out of the hole better? Also would it change top end speed? Or does any of that matter with the prop you have.

double cup?
cupping is not speed.

a good sst prop and the correct setup will equate to the best performance
all around.
even when an engine is mounted to the transom. you may may find raising
it one or two mounting holes with a sst prop will produce better performance.

Just for my own education because I'm trying to learn as much about this prop stuff as I can... I also have an 18' aluminum boat(heavy SeArk) with an Etec 90 HP, top operating range also at 5500 RPM, but a SST 15 pitch prop puts me right at the top of the RPM scale with a 3-4 second hole shot. What would account for needing to use such a difference in props other than maybe the weight of the boat? Mine also ran at the same RPM with the original aluminum prop.

desertfisherman.
we can hook you up with a prop.. call us at 903-763-5225

Bob.. boat weight and pad design, along with weight distribution (ie center console vs typical boat vs pontoon) all
require different pitches and blade designs.
