Went out to Ray Hubbard for the first time this morning and caught a few white bass. Although it wasn't as much as some of the stringers I've seen on here, it was a great morning to be on the water!

Put in at Robertson park. Wanted to try out rowlett creek, but couldn't figure out where to launch from.

as far as I can tell, you have to launch at zion rd (john paul jones park) and paddle west under both bridges.

I fish Hubbard often and put in at John Paul Jones Park and paddle to the creek under both bridges. It's not bad if it's calm. When the wind picks up it can be a chore.

I have seen people park in the grass next to the Rowlett Rd bridge but I'm not sure how they got down there, if it's allowed or I'd get stuck? If anyone knows this for sure please chime in as it would save me a lot of paddling time and make for more fishing! wink
