Going for the first time, would like suggestions, where to launch and an area to start in would be great and appreciated.

South end of the lake is fishing a lot beter than the north.. Salanaias is the best thing going.. Stop by the store and I'll mark up a map for you..

Super flukes, Baby brush hogs, spinners, and square bills..

Smaller baits have been better..

We stayed at the Holiday Inn (Express?) in Zapata of course.

Very nice, clean rooms, great breakfast.

Good luck!

Since this is your first time on Falcon, put in at State Park. Fish the TX side. Plenty of water to fish without buying a Mexican tag. Start in SP cove and work your way up into Tiger.
