The Ray Hubbard Bass Club had our third members only tournament of the year last Saturday April 11th. We once again ventured east, this time to Lake Tyler. Another solid turnout of 31 teams came out to fish. The lake is full and the weather was beautiful but the fishing surprisingly tough. Most teams caught a few, but limits were hard to come by and big weights even harder. In the end it was Dale Rettman and Kelly Graham coming out on top with a 5 fish limit that weighed 18.47. Here are full results and pictures. James Crawford and our life of the party Jack Scheel wait for the scales to open. Dan Margules and Gary Lee get in the line New to the Club this year Roddy Bieber teamed up with John Bruner and brought a solid keeper to the scales Gary Lee and Brian Brooks had one to show for a long day on the water. RHBC Secretary Russell Olds fishing with Matt Jackson weighed two fish, but did win the title for best color coordination for his attire. Bubba and Eric Anderson had two and also had a lot of fun according to Bubba. Another of the many Father/Son duos fishing the Club, Kenny and Howard Bunch weighed 2 for 4.27, but they did defeat their arch enemies the Scheels. Of course that didn't stop Jack from photo bombing Kenny... Matt Prior and Richard Cisneros had 3 to show for their days work

I fished with Chris Atkinson again and we had 3 fish for 5.93, and yes I actually caught the fish I'm holding this time! Thanks Chris! David Simmons fished solo and had 4 for 6.08 Jimmy Phillips and Randy Bridges caught 4 for 6.20. Lots of bucks were cruising the shallows. Preston Smith and David Horton got back in the swing and caught 4 for 7.57 Chris Pace and Ronnie Pettis weighed a limit for 7.64 Ed and Tyler Ham had 3 for 7.81 that included a 4.91 chunk! Justin and Jeff Garrett had 5 for 8.71. Justin stuck it out despite being under the weather all day. Cameron Laing and Patrick Sharp have consistently brought fish to the scales this year. They had 5 for 8.85 Scott Hill and Maurice Williams had 4 for 9.21. Here's Scott with their big fish that went 5.04

Rick and Julie Morehouse had a solid limit of 10.83. Great to see David Taylor and Shawn Garber out for this one! They had 5 for 11.13. Here are the money teams. Eric and Bart Vidal finished sixth with 4 for 11.27. Their big fish was just under 5 pounds Fifth place went to Dennis and Damon Machost with 5 for 11.87. Finishing fourth were James Crawford and James Crawford Jr. They had 5 for 13.51 that included second place big bass at 6.88! Third place went to two guys that make up the back bone of the RHBC. Vince Burt and Mark Werner weighed 5 for 14.38. Joe Ruiz and Paul Villarreal weighed only three fish, but one was big bass of 7.31 and another went well over 6. Their 3 weighed 15.95 and they took second. They have had a great start to the year and are currently leading the AOY race. Here are your winners! Kelly Graham and Dale Rettman weighed 5 for 18.47 that included their big fish of 5.47. Congratulations! Thanks to everyone that came out and thanks to the crew at Lake Tyler Marina for opening early and taking great care of us. Our next tournament is Saturday May 9th at Ray Roberts. Come out and join us!

Tom, great job as usual on the write up and pics. Congrats to Kelly and Dale on figuring it out. Dale was smoking a cigar as he was idling back to the ramp. I told Tony he either just got lucky (wink, wink) or has a big sack! Tony never even looked at me and said "I hope both"! Well, at least we know now that he had a big sack but with his propensity to get naked at the ramp I'm not ruling out the 1st one!
