Would this make a good crappie rig?

Sweet rig. I think you could catch crappie out of inflatable raft. roflmao

Don't let Chris see that! I think that would do Cody in.

Needs a little more horse power and a paid up life insurance policy. Years ago when I drove a MOD-VP, top end was 110 mph. Things happen real fast at 110 mph. That boat will do 150+ if you can drive it.

Those boys I fish the Laguna Madre with are drooling over that rig, guess 70 mph in 8 or 10 inches of water isn't fast enough for them.

Back when drags were being run on Town Lake, saw a guy get thrown out of his boat at an estimated 120 mph. He skipped across the water like a flat rock. Also spent 4 weeks in the hospital recovering from internal injuries.

Can you imagine all the rod holders you could put on that rig?

How about spider rigging out of that. Hope it has a front livewell....be wore out walking just wlaking back and forth.

The rims match my trucks rims....so, guess that I could make-do with that rig, but I'd want at least a 200# thrust trolling motor.

I don't think Cody's hat would stay on for very long. Those boats are made to run in that skinny water.
