Where'd ya go, ?

The lake of course. Started out on the north end and didn't do too hot. I caught 2 crappie and the gf caught 1 largemouth. We decided to pack up and try the south end. I caught 5 crappie and 1 largemouth. The gf caught 2 crappie. Majority of the crappie were just shy of being legal. We ended up bringing just 4 home. Water was up a bit and somewhat stained. It was tough. We ran out of water a couple of times looking for them. Lady Coot didn't even catch a whitebass.

Hey Foos, what was the water temp? I went wednesday afternoon and forgot to check the temp. We were working brushpiles in the main lake and caught a few keepers.

Good to see that duck boat getting some use for fishing, it sure did not get much use during duck season!

Motor (whole rig) is awesome! Just needs a trolling motor and a fish finder.




I wish I could tell ya. I don't have any electronics on the boat. It felt a bit warmer (via the skin test) than it did the last time we were out with texboxer.

About the weathermen...that they do. The wind was stronger than they predicted it to be when we were out. But they didn't lie about the weather last night. It came through pretty good at the house.






I have used it to fish way more than hunting so far.

I did find a couple new potential spots for next season though. Had some Woodies, BWT and Coots all over us.
