The MTBs have been going down hill over the last few months. Last month the Berkley pack was not anything new and exciting, or for that matter anything worth my money. This month's was no where near the published value. Two Baits, Really?

Don't waste your money!

It works though. They have caught many a good fisherman by throwing those baits out there and wiggling them just right.
Sorry you are disappointed.

It's not just MTB, I've heard LTB wasn't up to par this month either.

I just talked to a guy who has had it for a year and he says most of the stuff he gets are trout lures or stuff that nobody really throws around our region. He gets a lot of northern type lures. Do they not regionalize this stuff or ask you what kind of fish you fish for before sending them out?

I have Tackle Grab and it has come with some great baits. Bleeding Spinner Bait, Sebile Swim Bait, and 2 bags of plastics was in the last box. That swim alone was $16. My wife got me this for Christmas and it has more than paid for itself. Dale Jr. is part of the Tackle Grab organization, way to go 88!!!!

I have mystery, and it has been hit or miss, got some solid jerk baits, but I don't use them much, there were some craws in there the other day that I liked... I might change companies next year... we'll see

I figured I'd try LTB for a month or so and see how it is since it's only $5 to start. First box was supposed to be here 4 days ago...

I could tell I had no interest just in looking at the name. I'm not interested in tackle mysteries. I have a hard enough time figuring out the right baits to throw/buy.

I did cancel after the Berkley box too, but I am prepaid for a few more months. I think I am going to stick with Lunker Box for a few months, they had full bags of plastics in my first box. I am sure I will be disappointed later. hung

Except for the lipless crankbait and maybe the craw trailers (which I'll add to the box with numerous bags of other craw trailers I already have), didn't want or need anything else in the box. They should leave the gimmicky stuff like the "Ned rig" for special occasions and I agree that the selection should be geared geographically and maybe even break down the boxes into sub-species as well. And speaking of gimmicky, are "Dude Wipes" just repackaged hand-wipes like you get at fried chicken joints?

I haven't opened the box yet so now I'm really curious what's in it.

Dude wipes are for your arse.

Caught a bunch of fish at Table Rock on the Ned Rig last Sunday. I'll be throwing a modified (weedless) version in Texas when the bite gets tough.

As for TMTB, when it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.

I'll be cancelling as well, the old boxes used to be pretty decent.

The boxes are always loaded with great baits well over $15 when the hosts of fishing shows do the unveiling and demos!
