And a nice sunrise pic for you.

This week on Lake Texoma has been great for numbers. Most days we are getting between 30 and 40 fish. Big thanks to Jim Galbraith and his group that fished with me this morning and Rich Rolen (aka Jamie) and his buddies from yesterday afternoon. The bigger fish seem to be up river on spawn but these box fish have showed back up in numbers and are feeding aggressively. I'm starting to see small groups of fish feeding on topwater and blowing shad out of the water. With the bait kill last year it's been a while since I've seen it and it's a welcome site. The water levels are rising and the flooded brush will give the small fish some places to hide. It's shaping up to be a good year here on Lake Texoma but it's definitely been a great week.

Great report and haul John. Good to see the lake level up. I'm ready for some top water action!

Thanks Joe. It was a little slower for me the day you were out but we ended up with 15 fish. They were an hour and a half late so it made for a tough day.

Congrats on a great week. I'll be on Texoma sunday. If we can catch half that many I'll be a happy captain. Taking two boys 10 and 12 who have never caught a striper. With the size of fish coming out of texoma these days I may need to install seat belts!
