Interesting. I typically buy Lewis or Cordell traps and have never had this problem. But most of my cranks are SK and I can't say I've ever had a problem like this.

I've been using 6th Sense baits for close to 4 years now and I've been very pleased with Casey's products.....I also have no affiliation with their company other then the fact that I have confidence in their baits....their finish and ability to run true have been solid on every bait and I'm sure if I ever ran into an issue with any of their products, 6th Sense would make it right.

Looked into the 6th sense baits and they look great. I'll definitely have to give them a try. If I can support smaller local business I will gladly deal with them.

I have never heard of a wrong time of year to throw a lip less crank bait. Where did that come from?

I agree, Strike King has poor quality control with a lot of their crank baits but I would just keep throwing that one. It just might work better now that it looks a little beat up.

I normally NEVER call to complain or anything but I called Strike King and before I even finished saying the problem she finished my sentence because she knew the problem. It's unfortunate you know of a problem but don't do anything to fix it. On the upside she was very nice and said she will send me the equivalent lures x's 2 and some other things.

Livingston is making a great lure.
Their products are absolutely fish catching good products.
some better than others but all-in-all, very good lures.

They're decent lures, not great, not horrible. Better than SK but not by much. Just take note that almost everyone pushing them has the website in their sig, IE on the staff. So it's in their best interest to push them.

Completely disagree the paint jobs are best on the market for a non custom job. And hold their finish. My only complaint is there bills get weak after u smash them into rocks and catch a bunch of fish on them. But I usually break one off before I break a bill

Have not had a 6th sense cb do that, but then again I dont have a chrome or gold 6th sense bait. Bill lewis and strike kings chrome and gold only have always had some issues with flaking. Of those 2 strike king is worse for those 2 colors.

Strike King will make it right.

Sometimes the ones with paint knocked off work better smile

The non-chrome lipless SKs I have seem to hold up well. I've been using the Storm Rockin' Shad lipless and it is very durable with a similar action to the SK Red Eye for approximately the same price.

Anyone charging $8.99+ for a china made bait ought to make it right with no hesitation.

If the baits were made to last Strike King would be out of business. Its the largest bait company in the world for a reason.

Strike king paint jobs are some of the worst quality in the industry in my opinion. I dont think they put much, if any, clear coat on them. Yes, they catch fish, but I will spend my money elsewhere.
