There was a post earlier this week but I can't find it. What knot do you use for floro? I've aways used Polo Mar but I know there are specific knots for florocarbon. Thanks

Palomar has never let me down. I always wet the knot when cinching down.

Here is the best knot that I have used on FC line. I have never had a break at the knot and it provides near 100% line strength. It really is very easy to tie once you have done it a couple of times.

Fluorocarbon Knot

Cody Malone posted to take it easy on hookset. Cost someone a fish of a lifetime. Also I have read here on TFF this spring about not being able to turn a fish. I've never caught a bass this big. But I love when a fish gives me a battle! I think it's more fun. I would like to hear more stories about big fish that you pissed off and hopefully from guys that also landed these trophies.
I'm going to Fork this coming week and would appreciate your feedback and thanks for everyone who has helped me gain more knowledge here on the forum on my previous posts.

You have to be careful and make sure you tie the Palomar knot correctly with Fluorocarbon line. Other good knots to use are as follows.

Double Pitzen
San Diego Jam
Fishin fool

These can be found @ netknots.com

It shows the Pitzen and all you do is double your line and tie the same knot. Very strong.

I believe it's the same as posted above, but the Shaw Grigsby knot.
