Tournament location with a map, entry forms, online registration, and rules here:

TTZ TRAIL ? CANYON

You can also sign up the night before or morning of the event.

Once again we will have $5000 guaranteed for first place. Big bass pays 100%, and there is also an optional $500 Biobor big bass bonus. TTZ will have a live online leader board, and live online streaming of the weigh-in. We hope that everybody can come out to the event, but if you can't make it please watch the weigh in live on Texas Tournament Zone ? Central Texas Premier Tournament Source.

We have a lot going on at this event both Friday and Saturday out at Cayon Lake. Friday we will be running registration and demo rides with Skeeter out of the Baja BBQ Shack. Baja BBQ Shack | Good food. Live Music. Lots of fun. | Canyon Lake, TX Starting at 3PM on Friday afternoon and running until 7PM Skeeter will have three boats and drivers on hand to take people out on demo rides. These rides will not be in violation of the TTZ off limits time, and you do not have to be fishing the event to sign up. This is open to the public, any and all are welcome. Skeeter will randomly draw a name from those who took a ride and give away a $250 cash prize.

While the demo rides are going on down at the Marina, TTZ will up in the Baja BBQ Shack running registration. At 7pm after the demo rides are over we will have Chris Manning performing from 7pm to 8:30pm on the deck at Baja BBQ. If you purchase any items from Baja (even if it's just one beer), please hold on to your receipts. We will be giving away several prizes on Saturday randomly drawn from Baja receipts that are dated from Friday the 24th. When you weigh your fish in or when you sign up, just whenever, give us your receipt and you will be entered. Some of the prizes include, a free entry into a TTZ Trail Event for 2016, free entry Wednesday night, free entry Thursday night, lone star beer cases, TTZ shirts, etc. etc. You get the picture, we are going to be drawing names and giving prizes away while the scales are closing down and we are getting checks ready. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. So yall plan on sticking around for a little bit on Saturday, we will have plenty of ice cold Lone Stars and sausage wraps for you.

OK after Chris Manning is over we are going to move the party across the street over to the TTZ stage and weigh trailer. We will have Lone Stars on ice and ready to go for anybody who wants to keep the party going. See the map below for location of BBQ shack and TTZ launch areas. As at all of our events you are welcome to launch from any ramp on Canyon Lake and motor on over for the staged launch. The area we have in the park has two 3 lane ramps and we have access to three parking lots as well. We also have a key to the park, and most likely we are just going to leave the gates open pretty much all night. TTZ will also have signs placed on the park roads to help direct traffic.

TTZ will polygraph winning teams, please remember the off limits period begins at the end of the day on the last Sunday before the event date. SKEETER DEMO BOAT RIDES ON THE 24TH ARE ALLOWED AND ARE IN NO WAY A VIOLATION OF OFF LIMITS. For this tournament the off limits will start 3/20 Monday morning at 12:00AM. Fish all day on Sunday the 19th if you like, but by 11:59pm Sunday night your boat has to be out of Canyon Lake. On tournament day you can launch anytime after 4:00AM, and you can launch from any boat ramp, but all boats must check in for the staggered release. Please keep in mind that you can not go out and graph water before the event, that is a polygraph question. You can use GPS and whatever to run from point A to point B, but no graphing of water prior to launch. You can register online at anytime, or you can register in person starting the Friday night before, from 3PM to 9PM. We will also be available for early morning registration the day of the event starting at 5AM. All teams will draw a number and we will launch the boats one at a time from a launch boat staged in the cove, as you drive by please have your livewells open, life vests on, and your kill switch attached. Tournaments start at first safe light, and the first flight of boats will be due back at 3PM, following flights are staggered by 15 minutes.

Sounds like a great time and a lot of festivities. Might have to make this one with the reports of the grass coming in at this lake. And the smallmouth, which are almost as cool as guads.

Slight change on stage location, we have access to two 3 lane ramps that are side by side, the stage will be in between them.

It's very early on in the forecast, but it's looking like you might want to bring some sunscreen.

I really want to thank the 144 anglers who came out to fish this event, we appreciate you choosing TTZ over some of the other events that were running this weekend. I'm sorry for those who called us and couldn't make it because of the hail storm that morning in San Antonio. Maybe we will see some of yall at our next event. Also thanks to the 60+ people who came out to do a demo ride on Friday, that was an awesome turn out Skeeter was very happy. So many people showed that they had to go an extra 45 minutes or so but we got everybody on the water. I did a demo ride myself, and even though he showed how to whip 180s and 360s, I still don't think I'll try one in the FXi just yet.

For some of you guys fishing the Canon Thursday nighters I can confirm a few things about Canyon after our day on the water. First off there are plenty of dinks in that lake. Kyle and I had at least 25 fish boated on Saturday, unfortunately for us only 3 of those were keepers. We had no trouble finding fish or getting bites, just couldn't get the right bites. I can also confirm that those brush habitats hold nothing but dinks, didn't get a single keeper out of one of those things. Finally here is a shocker, the fish will eat a senko out there.
