I would hit the bream beds off the end of Rocky Point at Rocky Creek park. Good for black bass, bream, catfish this time of year. Usually it's 6-8' that I had best luck. Goodluck

The red dots are where I've found sunfish beds on the lake before over the last 20 years or so...

I like to fish twin island and whitebass pass launching from Yegua Creek Park.

All these areas have one thing in common.. hard bottom near deeper water. The biggest sunfish I've caught came from the area around the intake tower at the dam long before the tall grass lined the shore. I do catch lots of small sunfish up in the creeks but seldom target sunfish over bass.. that might change since fly fishing with JMoe became a thing..

Thanks hook-line & sinker! I'm very familiar with the area between yegua and the damn. Grew up chasing white bass there in our boat, but never tried to bream fish back then.
