I have posted other question on here and have another.
My buddy noticed a vibration on my boat, i never paid attention to it before he mentioned it. But while wot you can feel a pretty good vibration in your feet.
I now understand that it can be either a prop or output shaft, how can i tell? Is this serious? Can i fix it myself?

Does he have a spare prop he could put on and run? If the vibration goes away, it is the prop.

Do the ballpoint pen test. Pen in machined center of shaft then turn prop. You will see pen move if shaft is bent.

Most of the time, unless the propshaft is really bent, you will not feel a vibration at high rpms/speed. Do you hear any noises coming from the motor? Have you lost rpms?
