Is the Spawn Over Did i miss it or are they just scattered with all this water ?????
Been picking a few Black males from depths of 3-5 ft no females and males are not all tore up from making beds any ideas Guys

I don't think so. Because of the weather and fluctuating water temps, they our starting later. IMO

It isn't on the lakes I have been fishing. been a little bite but not much.

Still catching a lot of females with eggs in deeper water & water temps have not gotten where they need to be.

not even started on GV.all are full of eggs.

The spawn is going on in all of the lakes, just a year where they are hard to catch. The blacks are for the most part 4 to 10 feet of water, and the whites are in 5-6 feet are less. I have done better with the 3/4 to 1 1/4 plastic jigs and real tight on cover.

Yea most likely. It's gonna be end of May and people will be saying.. They havnt spawned Bc they havnt caught any! As the gentlemen said above.. Some still have eggs.. Not all fish species spawn at the exact time all over the lake so may have a chance to hook a few.

Cleaned six females this evening from 7.5 feet. None had spawned. You don't know til ya go

We caught 2 deep and 2 shallow last night, all four had eggs.

It's been spotty here for me. I haven't fished much, but most that I've caught shallow have been males. Females full of eggs have come from 5-12 fow.
Belinda & I went out Sunday afternoon, caught 6 shallow, 10 deeper and some were not on visible structure. All but 4 were females full of eggs.
I think there will still be a rush shallow [b]SOON[/n]
