Has anyone ever fished Lake Marble Falls, lake Lyndon B Johnson, or the nearby Colorado River tributaries? Either bass, panfish, or otherwise? I have a friend who will be living in that area soon and I'd like to take him out fishing.

Thanks,

I like Marble Falls not overly crowded, has some decent largemouth, once you get to the bridge and down further the water is pretty clear and deep some really nice smallies. LBL is a good lake of course no big motor only trolling. During the Summer months the snot moss can get pretty bad though.

I think he was refering to LBJ not LBL. LBJ is a normal lake and doesnt have motor restrictions

I need another cup of coffee...LBJ is a different animal...hate that lake in the Spring but the Fall bite is great.

LBJ is the best lake out here and is in great shape since its a constant level lake. Routinely takes 25-30 lbs to win tournaments
